Little Cass really got attached to that doll, even though the rest of the family found it creepy looking...
This was a quick sketch but I rather like the quality of it. I got the idea when a friend of mine and I started talking about DC Superhero Girls, which is an interesting side universe to say the least. And since Lady Shiva is a character already, one that seems roughly as old as the other girls, that seemed to necessitate that Cass would be a younger girl. And re-imagining her from daughter of Shiva to either a kid cousin or sister seemed like another concession to the universe. And well, while you're at it, might as well include her Detective Comics best friend Clayface.
